Crazy Ash doing her thing...

We got a dog this January and named her Ash. She looks like a mix between a black lab and a miniature chow, but we rescued her from the wild, so really she's just a mutt. We sure have fun with her. She's got lots of energy and keeps us entertained!... Boy does she ever love that stuffed gecko toy!!

Our New Apartment

Finally, a place we can paint the way we want!! We spent a couple of days painting our white walls before actually moving our furniture into the house. We were so glad we did this, as it would have been much more hassle to move the furniture around our work! It's funny, though--I don't seem to have taken any "before" or "after" pictures, just these in between jobs. Maybe that will tempt some of you back for a second look, hehe.

We really do love it here, though. We've had fun decorating and setting this place up as our new home. Although it's a little smaller than our last place, it feels bigger because our bedroom and the living room are larger. The vaulted ceiling in the living room doesn't hurt, either. And we're looking forward to spending many cold winter days in front of our fireplace.

Well, we finally did it--set up a blog so we can keep people updated as to what's going on in our lives. I think I'd better start back a few months..... We moved into our new apartment on April 12 of this year. We're in Midvale, Utah now--basically just south Salt Lake. We picked a third floor apartment because we were able to get a vaulted ceiling and a fireplace.
